 Leaning against the windowsill, Amanda stared out at the night sky. The London smog made it a strange, deep orange colour, and she sighed against the sound of not so distant traffic, and sirens. London wouldn't go to sleep for another three hours, even though it was already midnight. And then there were still night buses.
